Great for understanding Rector Design from many perspectives.

This text offers a good perspective between reactors types using both equations and graphical representations. Each chapter is concise but gives accurate detail with thorough examples. This is easily one of the better books I've had during my Chemical Engineering curriculum thus far and an effective alternative to Hill's "Introduction to Chemical Engineering Kinetics & Reactor Design."

Excellent Book

So far Wiley and sons publishing has always impressed me with their books. This one didn't let me down. The book does a very good job building concepts slowly. It doesn't jump in to the really tough stuff right away, but it still covers it. This is arguably one of the more difficult courses in the Chemical engineering curriculum. If you normally do not buy or read your text books I suggest you make an exception with this one.
