It's like the tan covered one, but better

Second time I've owned this. I owned the tan edition before, this one seems to be the same. Excellent Christian based, Bible referenced 12 step workbook, that will work you through each step. Plenty of questions for thought and reflection. Highly recommend to be used alone or with another 12 steps program. I have used it both ways. More questions here than in other 12 steps writing journals.

Great for our Church Program

I purchased these books for our new program at church for individuals with additions. This has proven to be a wonderful tool to help guide people trying to "kick the habit" no matter what the addition is. Highly recommend this to anyone that is struggling.

Adds dimension for those who seek it

I gave it 4 stars b/c I have not fully used the book yet but I believe it is a valuable teaching tool. "Generic"' 12 Step speaks about a "higher power" while this book speaks specifically about God and references Bible passages to support the 12 Step methods. For someone who wants to go deeper, who wants to bring the full aspect of God into their recovery, this book will help you do it. It is best used in a group so church groups will find it useful. The book introduces the history and formation of 12 Step so you know where it is coming from and then goes into suggested formats for its use.
