It is not a good option

I found solution free from one of my friend and i was really annoyed becoz of the fact that there are solution to less than one third of the problem in this solution manual. I thought it would be having complete solutions but one of out five question problem have been attempted. I have the one which are complete and no single problem is missing

Horrible Solution Manual

This solution manual only has some of the 100's of problems in the text book. The description of the solution manual does not mention that this book only has some solutions to the problems out of the book. Buyer beware !!!

About the Author
Eoin Treacy has spent a decade as a global strategist and partner at Fullermoney.com, where he has represented the service on sell-out speaking tours to the USA, Australia and Singapore. Outstanding explanation of behavioral use of technical analysis by an active practioner.

As a long time subscriber to the services of David Fuller and Eoin Treacy i can vouch for their skill in market analysis. Treacy clearly explains the rationale and methodology they use to make decisions about price action in tradeable markets. Highly recommended for both the novice and the professional. I have made my living trading for 30 years and read every book I can.
I would put this in the top 5 of the hundreds I have read over the years.

Los hombres que se portan BIEN comprar�n y leer�n los cuentos de Mujeres que se portan MAL

Mujeres que se portan MAL es un libro de cuentos cuyo t�tulo sugerente invita a leerlo. Como si con cada p�gina que uno pasa estuviera participando de un acto prohibido, ilegal, pecaminoso. Si leer es portarse mal, entonces he sido culpable. Este libro se podr�a considerar como una carta de presentaci�n al mundo literario de esta autora que entiendo es mas novelista que cuentista. No tengo dudas que una vez los cr�ticos y criticones lean a estas mujeres que se portan MAL ser� inevitable que le abran las puertas a mayores �xitos. Algunos cuentos son mejores que otros pero eso sucede con todos los pecados. Algunos pecados son mas graves que otros. De mi parte entiendo que no comprar este libro y no leerlo ser�a el acto mas maligno que cualquier ser humano pueda hacer. El �nico MAL que encontrar� en este libro se encuentra en la �ltima palabra del t�tulo.

great for musicians new to bass

If you already can read music, but are new to the bass, this is a fantastic book -- there are 52 exercises, beginner to advanced, with exercises to be done one week at a time. The book starts right off with walking lines of 8th notes and then quickly gets into 16th notes w/syncopation etc.

Chapter 1. Chromatics (exercises 1-10)
Chapter 2. Scales & Arpeggios (exercises 11-20)
Chapter 3. String Crossing (exercises 21-30)
Chapter 4. Slapping & Popping (exercises 31-40)
Chapter 5. Advanced Bass (exercises 41-52)

Great!

I'm on week 8 of 52 and so far the weekly pieces have been really great for getting my reading chops back up to speed. I do 10-20 minutes every morning and slowly work out the kinks all week long. By the time Saturday and Sunday roll around I'm playing it faster and faster with the metronome, looking to get all the way through error free, and the included CD is very helpful cause you can play along with the author. Very good learning tool for me so far, I highly recommend it. Not for complete beginners though, some of the rhythms are already getting quite tricky and I spent a lot of years reading music. Worth the effort though, I'd imagine having a teacher walking you through the tougher passages would help. And of course you can listen to the CD and see how it is supposed to sound but the real challenge is getting it right without any help from your ears.

diverse exercises for bass book

I like this book because it covers something that has been plagueing me: coming to grips with cromaticism and string crossing (two of the chapters).

I would suggest this book to intermediate to advanced bass musicians. Quite a few of these pieces (usually two pages in length, with beginning, middle and return to/end sections)will take some time to memorize.. no banging on the root here (not that there's anything wrong with that, at times).

The chapter on scales sings(melodic)pretty good. The chapter on slap and pop has grown on me.

Well worth the price.

This is a wonderful gift book for the Graduates in your life

This is a wonderful gift book for the Graduates in your life. I love the verses of scripture, and the Charting your Course at the end of the book there is a place to write down all of your goals. The daily reading is much needed for teens this day and time. It is sure to inspire them.This is such a wonderful book for those grads beginning their life journey.
I gave this book 5 stars and I love the wisdom on every page. I plan to give this book as graduation gifts this year.

A Lazy Effort, But Good Advice

[Note: This book was sent free of charge, without my having requested it, from BookLook/Thomas Nelson Publishers, in exchange for an honest review.]

Yesterday, when the large box containing this small book (it comes in at around 160 pages or so) was dropped on my doorstep by UPS, I searched through my e-mail archives and my own data records of the books I request to see if I had requested it, and I found that I had not. That said, I am not someone to look a gift package in the mouth, and so I resolved to read this book anyway, even if it had not been requested. It is hard to judge a book like this fairly, given that it is unclear what purpose the author (and I will have more about this to say later) had for the book. In the larger sense, it is clear this book is meant as encouragement for believers. Max Lucado writes with a sense of humor, uses a lot of personal examples, and most of this book, with a few very rare exceptions, stays away from contentious issues, except for one extremely poorly translated verse in Acts that is twisted to support giving offerings every Sunday, when the verse spoke of a particular message with a particular purpose from Paul’s ministry, where he began speaking at the end of the Sabbath and continued speaking until midnight, collecting the offerings after the Sabbath was done because it was considered improper to offer from one’s labor on the Sabbath itself.

That said, in terms of its organization and structure, this is a fairly simple and straightforward book. The book has five larger parts, with a topical organization starting with a road map for one’s spiritual journey, good habits to travel with, making decisions at forks in the road, slowing down and avoiding disaster, and having a friend in God and Jesus Christ along for the journey. These parts are then divided into very specific posts ranging from one to a few paragraphs, most of them fitting on a single page, with Hallmark card quotes on the other page. At the beginning of the book there is an encouraging and extremely brief preface and at the end of the book there are some lined pages for readers to take their own notes for a prayer, goals, steps taken to achieve those goals, and favorite scripture quotes, poems, and sayings, like those that fill the brief pages of the book. All in all, this is not a difficult read, and despite its occasional shortcomings the book is pleasant and encouraging, and will likely be best used as an occasional reference as well as a devotional, with a day devoted briefly to each brief passage. Reading the book straight through would not present a challenge to any reader either.

Yet despite the fact that the book itself, if taken merely for its passages, is basically encouraging and positive, full of hope and love and even humor, there is one massive offending aspect of this book. When looking at the passages, one finds that all of them come from various volumes in Max Lucado’s extensive oeuvre, like “The Applause Of Heaven,” “In The Grip Of Grace,” or “When God Whispers Your Name,” to give but three examples. This leads to a few awkward questions. For one, who is to be counted as the author of this book? Its material comes from Max Lucado, to be sure, but did he copy and paste the material from his own works and determine its organization and structure or did some fifteen-dollar-an-hour employee at Thomas Nelson do the actual book design work and copying and pasting labor while Mr. Lucado collects the royalty checks? For another, who decided this book needed to be written in the first place? Again, is this book the sort of dreaded contractual obligation that leads to all kinds of second-rate compilation efforts done without any active input from the author himself or did the author decide that in lieu of actually writing a book that he would release this book to bridge the gap while he recovers from the grips of some particularly fierce writer’s block? This is a lazy book, like a couple of recent books I have read from another author, and being a fairly hardworking writer myself, I dislike seeing people make money and adding books to their bibliographies off of this kind of laziness, even if in their original context they were no doubt original and pleasant. As far as a book goes, this is a remix, and if you have the original, you will probably want to know that the material here will not be original itself.

Let The Journey Begin: Findng God's Best For Your Life fills us with wisdom, hope, God's love, and grace. It's a little book that you want to keep with you during your personal journey. When you get stuck on your journey or feel like you're losing hope use it as a reference tool to bring you back to center. Refer to the table of contents to guide your specific situation.

This book is kind of a cross between a devotional, a gift book, and a book of advice. It is short (less than 200 pages) with around seventy or so readings. Each reading is about a page or two at most and all of them have a short quote or scripture to support them. It's not quite a devotional, in that it isn't all scripture or examination of scripture. If you re going through something particular, you can go to the table of contents, find a topic and read just that reading.

The book is short and it is divided into five themed sections: God's Plan for the Journey of Life - A Road Map for Success; Stop, Look, and Listen - Good Habits for a Good Journey; A Fork in the Road - Deciding Which Way to Go; Dangers and Detours Ahead - Slow Down, Avoid Disaster; and Two is Fine Company - A Friend for the Journey. There is also a place at the end for notes, or for planning your first steps on the journey of life.

While this book is also available for the Kindle and Nook and other e-book readers, I believe Let The Journey Begin: Finding God's Best For Your Life is one of those books that deserve a hardback copy worthy of sitting on your side table or dresser. Pick up a copy of Let The Journey Begin: Finding God's Best For Your Life and use it as a life guide.

Very informative + the photos are fantastic!

When I picked up Padma Lakshmi’s The Encyclopedia of Spices and Herbs last weekend, I knew what I was getting into. This book was not going to be exciting. It was not going to have a lot of recipes and it certainly was going to be very different than her memoir, an audiobook that I had finished not too long ago. I read this book cover to cover in a little over 4 hours, with some inevitable help from Google to look at photos of things described. This was also one of those pieces of media that remind me that yes, English is my second language.

The book lives up to what you would expect from something that has the word Encyclopedia in the title. It is well organized, with an alphabetized list of spices and herbs from around the world and their botanical names. The book refers to itself on a lot of pages, and you do not have to read it all alphabetically. I read the section on Chillies first, and then Salt, and then went to page 52 to see how Padma describes Chaat Masala. Spices, their taste, origins, preparation methods and food pairings are explained well.

The most interesting thing I learned was how many types of Thyme are there, and the many ways they can be used. I also finally have a handle on how Mustard and Fenugreek are different from each other. The photos are beautiful, too- which makes it a decent coffee table prop for those of us who sometimes obsess over aesthetics.

Overall, 4 out of 5 stars. 5/5 if I compare it to how I felt about Padma’s memoir.

A must have for your kitchen

This is a must have if you are even a little serious about cooking. I wanted it after seeing her on the Late Show, yes a Colbert bump. I am so glad I did. In fact I bought two more as Xmas gifts, yes it is that good. In-depth knowledge is shared on each spice, some I have never heard about before, their uses including some medicinal uses, how much to use, what it would be good on or in, taste profile and so on. Fennel Pollen? I had no idea this even existed!

Do not be put off by the silly reviewers saying there are not recipes, it is not a cookbook nor does it say that it is. If you want a cookbook, buy one, don't slam a book because it is not something it doesn't say it is. BUT, it is a wonderful resource for every kitchen, and it does that very well.

It is an Encyclopedia, of great spices, get it, you will not be disappointed.

Sustainable agriculture is a rapidly growing field aiming at producing food and energy in a sustainable way for humans and their children. Sustainable agriculture is a discipline that addresses current issues such as climate change, increasing food and fuel prices, poor-nation starvation, rich-nation obesity, water pollution, soil erosion, fertility loss, pest control, and biodiversity depletion. Novel, environmentally-friendly solutions are proposed based on integrated knowledge from sciences as diverse as agronomy, soil science, molecular biology, chemistry, toxicology, ecology, economy, and social sciences. Indeed, sustainable agriculture decipher mechanisms of processes that occur from the molecular level to the farming system to the global level at time scales ranging from seconds to centuries. For that, scientists use the system approach that involves studying components and interactions of a whole system to address scientific, economic and social issues. In that respect, sustainable agriculture is not a classical, narrow science. About the Author

Dr. ERIC LICHTFOUSE, born April 2, 1960, completed his Ph.D. in organic geochemistry in 1989 at Strasbourg University. After post-doctoral fellowships at Indiana University, USA and the KFA research center in J�lich, Germany, he became engaged as a soil scientist at the French National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA) in 1992. His study on soil organic matter and pollutants led in particular to the first determination of the dynamics of soil organic molecules in long-term maize field experiments using 13C labeling at natural abundance. In 2000 he founded the European Association of Environmental Chemistry (ACE) and in 2003 the Journal Environmental Chemistry Letters. He has co-edited the book Environmental Chemistry (Springer, 2005). He is currently working in Dijon for the INRA Department of Environment and Agronomy as Editor-in-Chief of the journal Agronomy for Sustainable Development. He is growing fruit trees and vegetables in his home backyard and travelling from home to work by bicycle. Eric Lichtfouse is also finisher of 10 ironman competitions, including the World Ironman Championships in Hawaii in 2006.
